A little about us:

Nestling in the hills of Southern Charente on the border of the Dordogne, Chez Daviaud provides an exceptional opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the French countryside in comfortable holiday cottages that capture the essence of French rustic charm.

Refurbished during the winter of 2014-15, the four Gites provide a range of accommodation for parties from 4/5 up to 10 people. A large swimming pool complex, shared with the other Gites, includes a 12x6m large pool, a small children's pool, as well as a paddling area. The pool has a large area for sunbathing with ample shade in which to cool down.

Chez Daviaud is conveniently situated just off the D709 road, between Montmoreau-St-Cybard and Riberac, with its famous weekly market and connections with the specialities of the region (Foie Gras, Truffles and Duck Confit). Just 15 minutes down the road is thevillage of Aubeterre-sur-Dronne, one of the 100 prettiest villages in France, where visitors can marvel at one of the largest subterranean (troglodite) churches in Europe.

Aubeterre also provides access to a river beach and Canoeing and Kayaking trips on the river Dronne
